Description: 程子東(廖偉雄飾)任職家庭電器用品營業主任，與女友陸家宜(毛舜筠飾)已到談婚論嫁之地步。子東自父身故，便負起照顧母親周麗娟(譚倩紅飾)、弟子南(黎耀祥飾)和妹子敏(陳珮珊飾)的責任。 子東發現一廉價樓出售，於是決與家宜結婚，共同供樓。誰料二人積蓄不夠付首期，家宜惟向姊家玲(李司棋飾)借貸，與子東築愛巢。 家玲早年因要照顧宜跟男友鬧翻，至今未婚，後從新加坡返港，與妹夫妻一同居住，其後，更加入子東之公司工作。未幾，家玲與子東工作和家庭均生矛盾，鬧出不少笑話。
